Your visit to the Texas Renaissance Festival allows an escape to a world where you can live a day as your imagined self.
But this can be … a bit much.
Many of us need an opportunity to escape the hustle of the park, and the High Tea Experience allows you to do just that.
Our tearoom is built on an upstairs deck, above the downtown bustle of TRF on a festival day. Or even a chance to continue our fantastical experience … but in a calmer mode.
Served at 3pm, our High Tea creates a space for visiting with friends both old and new, over hot tea, and a meal of delicious bite-sized elements.
Afterward you can decide if you are refreshed for a return to the hubbub of the festival day, or if you have seen your teatime as a denouement to your day.

2023’s High Tea
- is seated at 3pm on every festival day.
Individual seats can be chosen (the seating map is within the ticketing process) - Everyday of the festival, there are a limited number of tickets available to purchase that day, as they are not included in the ticketing map. So if the date says sold out online, check at the tearoom early on the day of, as there may still be seats available for purchase.
- There is a vegetarian menu option available. You will be prompted to choose between traditional and vegetarian at purchase.
- Seats are $55 each
- During high tea, only guests with tickets to that day’s High Tea will have access to the upstairs. Otherwise, the deck and bar are available for visitors from 9am until 2pm, and opens again at 5pm to the general public
How to join us for high tea
► Tickets for the High Tea event are available on the Texas Renaissance Festival website, listed under “additional experiences” as Tea and Strumpets.
► Both High Tea and Festival tickets are date specific, make sure your dates match.
► Remember: each day of the festival, there are a limited number of tickets available to purchase that day, as they are not included in the online ticketing map. So, if the date says sold out online, check at the tearoom early on the day of, as there may still be seats available for purchase.
►Unfortunately, we do not have any Limited Mobility seats available other than those available through the festival ticketing site.
